Christopher G. Leasor – Associate Attorney –
Christopher Leasor has been practicing law since graduating from the University of Illinois College of Law in 2004. He began his career at the Peoria County State’s Attorney’s Office, prosecuting in the traffic and misdemeanor divisions. He then worked as an associate with the Peoria law firm of Stephens, Fiddes, McGill & Associates before returning to the Peoria County State’s Attorney’s Office in 2009. Before joining Hall, Rustom & Fritz L.L.C. in November of 2013, he was the Chief DUI and Traffic Prosecutor in Peoria County, handling nearly 3,000 DUI cases and tens of thousands of traffic citations in his career as a prosecutor. During that time, Mr. Leasor formed a reputation as an accomplished prosecutor, earning the respect of many lawyers and judges. Wanting to expand his experience while facing more challenges, Mr. Leasor brought his talents to Hall, Rustom & Fritz LLC where he provides an integral part to the HRF Criminal & Traffic Division, concentrating on Drug Arrests, DUI, traffic citations, criminal record expungements, and Summer Camp Music Festival Arrests.
Mr. Leasor has extensive courtroom experience, having spent most of his time as Chief DUI and Traffic prosecutor in the courtroom – not in his office. He has handled innumerable motion hearings, statutory summary suspension hearings, and bench trials, as well as many jury trials, not having lost a jury trial as a prosecutor since 2009. Mr. Leasor is pleased to bring his extensive knowledge and experience to Hall, Rustom & Fritz, L.L.C., where it can put to use for the benefit of our clients.
